When Kelly & John met for their first date in downtown Denver, little did they know they would be back in the exact same spot having engagement photos taken less than two years later!

These crazy kids first came to me early this summer to talk about planning an engagement photo shoot. As we brainstormed ideas, they mentioned wanting to do something more urban and that they had met for their first date at The Corner Office — a retro martini bar & restaurant in downtown Denver.

After that conversation, and scouting the location of the restaurant downtown, the “where” of the shoot was a no-brainer and had been decided. More often than not, choosing a location with some sort of meaning behind it takes the photo shoot to the next level.

These guys were a blast to work with and pulled the shoot off perfectly. Kelly and John were so pleased with the engagement photography, they asked if I would be interested in flying down to Mexico next year to photograph their destination wedding. I bet you can guess what my answer was.
