An Exploration of Sacred Geometry: Denver Commercial Art Photography

2

Not many people are familiar with the concept of Sacred Geometry. Local Denver artist and friend, Marcus Fitzgibbons, has quite literally made an art out of the topic.

Marcus has been creating art since childhood, and has already made a name for himself with his Branding and Graphic Design work in Denver. In the winter of 2009, Marcus experienced a lucid dream in which he had a profound vision. Born from this dream was his current body of work titled “Woven Life”; an exploration of sacred geometry.

When Marcus came to me, he needed photographic representations of the art to display in brochures he would use for gallery submissions. The key was to capture the ethereal quality and subtle dimensionality they exhibit in person. The dimensions ranged from 12″ x 12″ to 36″ x 36″. These pieces were truly inspiring to take into the studio and work with.

Keep an eye on this guy — I have no doubts that you’re going to see more of him on the Denver art scene.

I love these pieces! AND you did such a great job of showing how they jump off the page. These are definitely not ‘flat’ pieces of art in any sense of the word! Bravo!
