The Man Behind the Lens

Hello. My name is David Keating and I am a Denver based photographer who specializes in family lifestyle shoots. I have been losing myself in photography for over 15 years now, and have an uncontrollable passion for the craft.

I was born and raised in the bitterly cold and hellaciously humid mid-west; Grosse Pointe, Michigan to be exact. After graduating college, my then girlfriend, and now wife and I, moved out to Colorado to try it out for “a year”, and have never looked back.

Fast forward 8 or so years, and I am now a husband to the love of my life and father to two of the most amazing ladies on the planet — one of which is covered in fur and has four legs, but I’m told we have the same eyes.

Off the clock, I can be found spending time with my family & friends. I’ve been known to rip a mountain side or two for fun, and dabble in web & graphic design.

A good photo takes you back in time, and evokes emotion like no story alone ever could. I love capturing those seemingly typical moments in life; the smiles, the giggles, the ups and the downs — and turning them into memory triggers that last a lifetime.
